Well, I myself think Muhammad would win. There's a guy a few posts back who thinks I was talking about Archie Moore!!! Muhammad vs Moore would be excited while it lasted, But Saad's want to get into a war with The Old Mongoose would see him flat out within five rounds and I'm a big admire of Saad Muhammad.
Well, rather than point out everything, let's just say I completely disagree with pretty much every single word you just typed.:good
Fair enough. Interested with which Moorer fights at LHW you are basing your views on, I would agree with your initial statements in reference to him as Heavyweight just think he was entirely different at LHW
I think it comes down to styles. While Moorer fought at a measured pace, Saad's tendency to start slowly, plus his defensive liabilities means that at some point he's probably getting rocked when he elects to turn up the pace and accelerate his attack. In terms of legacy, they aren't in the same stratosphere. In terms of styles, I think Moorer wins because Saad's weaknesses play to MM's strengths at the weight.
Matt Franklin by KO. Moorer might have his moments, but there is nothing that Moorer did at Light Heavy that even remotely compares to the accomplishments of Matt Franklin. Matt was strong as an OX, stuff as nails, where Moorer has always been chinny.
When did Moorer ever face an opponent that tested his heart or his chin at 175? Moorer had only 11 fights when he got his 175 title shot. Saad had 27. Saad had nine fights against world class comp before challenging for a belt. Moorer hadn't faced one. Saad's title reign is beyond legendary. Moorer's consists of one former titleholder and eight nobodies.
