Which of these light-heavyweights carried their power best at heavyweight? Not who is the hardest puncher of the 3 at light-heavy but rather who carried their power the best when moving up to heavyweight.

Who is the best heavyweight hitter of the 3?

Foster did actually have power at heavyweight, Ali said he punched very hard, but he didn’t have the chin or style to be a success at heavyweight and he didn’t put on enough weight imo

Good question. I can actually see all of these being fair answers. Yeah, Moorer might well have done. Although I'm sure if Spinks had fought Moorer's competition, he'd have scored more KOs. Foster probably wouldn't have, but he always maintained his hard it were for him to put weight on. He actually had to drink beer to get above the LHW limit at one point, although that may have just been a handy excuse.

    I pick Spinks.

Could be Foster. He never lacked power at Heavyweight. He just lacked the strength to deal with the elites. Ali, Frazier, Folley, and Terrell outweighed him by an average of 28 pounds. He barely even put on weight for those, or any other Heavyweight fight for that matter. Still, he holds numerous KO wins against men outweighing him by 20+ pounds, most of them in the early rounds. Best KO rate of the 3 as well.

Moorer is the logical choice, though, seeing as he was the only natural Heavyweight.
