I don't understand all the crying about mora winning. Hear me out before all the name calling.

If you have a problem with the way fights are scored in general , and think they should have a universal way to score a fight you're right, and that's another thread.

Everybody is acting like they just started watching boxing yesterday. It is a none fact that Jim Lampley and Golden Boy Judges score the aggressor.

(Oscar lost to his own judges by running)

If there is hard rounds to score do to inactivity or lack of punches being landed you give the round to the aggressor.

Golden Boy has always scored like this in fact most would say it's conventional.

    Sorry for errors iPhone.

You mean to tell me a Mexican can fight on Mexican Independance day run all night while while making the other guy miss and walk off with a win?
This has never been the case, you know you lost when during the post fight Mexicans are calling you a fake Mexican all because you where scared.

Before you go all crazy with name calling please answers these questions.

Did Mora really think they where gonna let a contender run all night and add a legend to his resume?

When hasn't lampley or golden boy judges scored the aggressor when rounds are to funny to make out? It's different if both guys are coming forward landing on each other those are called close rounds, but if you're just running backwards not making him pay for missing you lose the round.

Did mora win rounds yes, did Mosley win rounds yes. Where there a lot of ify rounds yes. Whose fault was the ify rounds, Mora. Well then all those ify rounds go to Shane.

The only real Mexican in that ring was Mosley.

Ring aggressiveness should win rounds when the other fighter is running in the most spastic manner, not throwing, and trying to hide it with "slick" showboating. One thing is being slick, another is just running. Mora wasn't being slick.

Shane outlanded mora almost 2-1..mora landed less than 6 punches per round..

Also shane almost doubled him in the power connects at 2-1...

Cant win a fight on points in boxing and land less than 6 punches per round

not sure how he coulda "won" on points by any mean

Did mora fight like a *****? yes... Was it a boring fight? yes.... But did mora win? yes.... It was an ugly fight that mora controlled! The hbo commentators almost made me throw up.... why are they so ****ing biased!! Just like in the cotto-margarito fight... I actually like lampley but he needs to quit licking balls and be fair!

Kinda similar to when oscar landed '100' more punches on shane in the re-match.... but people were still divided when scoring the bout! Alot of those punches shane landed were pitty pat punches, They shouldnt count. Mora landed the much cleaner shots...

well, in the end, i guess a Draw was the right call afterall. It seemed to me that it was a clear-cut victory for Mosley. Mosley had the ring aggression. Mora did NOT have control. IMO, control means mitigating damage AND scoring hits effectively more and better than your opponents. Mora did a good job running and mitigating damage, but he DID NOT do offensively better, and the punch track shows that quite clearly. To say that the punch tracker is defunct or **** is just plain silly. Its an unbiased account of effectiveness and action. I know those who lean towards favoritism would like to take unbiased data out of their equation...

For some reason or another a good few gave the fight to Mora on ESB. So it seems generally a DRAW here also....
