The E.S.P.N is reporting Reality star vs California star is on if Sergio can keep his belt against forrest(which i dont see happening but oh well).

I guess its understandable for Oscar because Sergio

    1)Has a Belt
    2)Undefeated
    3)Reality show

If this ends up being the case..I really hope Forrest wins (hope he wins anyway). Have no interest in seeing Mora -vs- Hoya.

I wanted Forrest to win before, but after hearing this even more now.

I prefer to see Forrest vs Hoya simply because I like Vernon and would like to see him get payday.
Plus it would be a better fight to watch, neither fight is a big fight but if it had to be something id prefer Forrest get the shot.

Wow what a crap fight! I think I would rather watch Rosie O' Donell do a strip tease...while I am having a root canal....performed by a blind dentist...and ODLH's CD playing in the background.

I knew it. I've been calling this since Forbes.

Oscar gets to close his career with a TV name who comes with a belt. Also helps that he has no power.

They will have no problem getting some major buys on PPV for this farce.

What a surprise from the "Golden Boy"...

There are a couple dozen fighters who I'd like to see De La Hoya fight instead of that asswipe Mora. Sergio is boring, punches slightly softer than Ivan Calderon, and reached the pinnacle of his boxing career by beating the very ordinary Peter Manfredo. It's a fight that literally does nothing to enhance Oscar's legacy.
