It is also well documented that Mora is struggling to make 154. He couldnt do it in the Forrest rematch, and was clearly weight drained for the fight.

I have no doubt Mora wants to move to 160 again. He has no confidence that he can fight his style of fight, a herky jerky, active contest weight drained. He tried once, and an old Vernon Forrest beat the living hell out of him.

He's running from the weight class. No doubt.

Good, let him turn down fights until he's old and grey.

Mora turning down the Taylor fight was a bad move. This might not be too bad. Martinez would have beaten him pretty comfortably and he might be able to land a bigger payday elsewhere. I could see Mora landing a fight with Pavlik or Paul Williams which I believe would both pay more. He was on the shortlist for DLH earlier maybe he's hoping to get back there. Mora has a decent name and is very beatable I can see him landing a bigger fight than Martinez.

    Mora is exceedingly unimportant.
