Forrest trained like an animal for the rematch, Mora was weightdrained and thus slow and lethargic, and Vernon beat his ass. This is by no means an indication of how much Vernon has left.

Sergio Mora is a TERRIBLE person to lose to if you are a world class fighter. Terrible. Excuses or not, it happened, and Floyd has the edge in my opinion at this point simply based on Vernon's inability to be effective in the least once he got tired.

Sergio Mora is a great C level fighter. Awkward style and speed allow him to beat on lesser fighters, but his herky jerky attack is fundamentally **** and a world class boxer SHOULD take him apart everytime. He is a BOXER. The fact that he wasn't outboxing Vernon but shoving him around and beating him up says volumes about the stylistic weaknesses of a fighter far removed from his best.

The second fight was a performance by Vernon, but it came a fight too late. That he needed two fights to conclusively beat a fighter that should never have come within sniffing distance of a world title tells me the man is WAY removed from his best years. Hang em up, Vernon. You had to punish yourself to dominate a weight drained C+ fighter. Your days of beating pound for pound elites are over.
