Morales a 5 division champ ?

    how nice would it have been for him to get the nod this weekend....that, and that robbery vs diaz still upsets my stomache...they took history from eirk that night, and gave it to a complete garbage fighter :-(

    but anyways, being that maidana had a super close fight with khan (many had him winning), and now a razor thin fight with erik (who many had for erik), is he a 5 division champ in your eyes/heart ???

    maidana shoudlnt even be champ, khan is the wba champ, why make him superduperchamp. Morales shoudl be a 4 division champ, and I have hope that he once really will be but saturdays fight shouldnt have been for a title.

    well...i meant considering the fact that many had maidana beating khan.......

    Yes but than manny would have taken his LW belt. No one would have paid for a 4th fight so arum rigged the fight to get manny vs diaz. Robbery

    I see what you are saying, but I can't say he is a 5 division champ. I had him beating Diaz, so I consider him to have won titles in 4 divisions.

    The Khan to Morales proxy is where you lose me. Fighting a razor thin fight with a guy who fought a razor thin fight against the champ just isn't enough to pass my personal bar.

    I thought he beat Maidana and honestly I didn't see the Diaz fight yet so in my books he's a 4-division champ. They can take away his W's but they'll never take away his heart. Morales is a true ATG without question and I hope his eye recovers. Khan beat Maidana clearly but Morales fought with much more smarts against Maidana.

    Anyone who had Maidana beating Khan does not know how to score a fight, it's that simple. There is absolutely no way that Maidana won that fight, so how anyone would score it in his favour is beyond me.

    Well, why does Madaina have a belt at all? Diaz' belt was mostly legitimate, and Erik deserved to win that fight by a slightly greater margin than he deserved to draw or win this one (I had this for Erik by about a point, his evasiveness and accuracy were awesome, I just wish he would have been a bit stronger in the last two rounds).

    SO ... four titles, Madaina should not be anywhere near a belt but Erik should have won or drawn him. on a related note, HOW is Zbik the WBC beltholder at middle? Pavlik should have had the WBO and the WBC, Martinez should have them both for beating him, but I think he just got the WBC and now Zbik has some kind of version from the same organization. Interrim? Interrim from what? Shameless. What's up with that? Creating titles for Chavez jr?

    freddy my man, I've been saying Morales is a 5 division champion ever since he rumbled with Maidana last weekend. HELL YEA hes a 5 division champ!
