MAB. I love Morales and he is my favorite of the two but he fought too many wars. MAB preserved himself better. Boxed more and his skills will still carry to some victories.
Morales is an all-time favorite of mine but he's just done, too many wars and too many damaging shots he was able to handle. MAB would do better against others right now, the Diaz fight was enough proof that Morales is just 5% of what he used to be. At least Barrera had the stamina to go 12 rounds against Pacquiao.

MOrales still has skills. I rewatched the Diaz fight and i still dont get how he lost that fight. He dominated the first 6 rounds. I think the 5th one you can maybe make a case for Diaz winning that round. I still gave it to him. Its just that his legs are not there anymore. Even at the beginning of the fight they looked wobbly and not very well balanced. I wouldnt mind a 4th fight for them to close out their career. Im afraid i cant pick Morales to win though. Like i said before he is just too shot.
MAB. Morales only had one more left in is first fight with Pac. His last fight with MAB was his last, he then lost to a journey man but his hatred towards MAB, his pride and machismo allowedhim to dig very deep in one more grat performance against Pac.
BUt isnt that what makes him as great as he is though?? I know what you mean but thats why he gets respect from everyone. Morales was one of those fighters that put us first then his health.

I never understood why the next 2 fights took place at 130. There wasnt even a belt on the line was there?? The 3rd one was a very big mistake taking place at 130. It was clear that it was damaging for his body to be at 130 and they still did it. I think at 135 the fights would have been different. Not saying he would have definately beat Pac but there would have been more of a chance.
Barrera actually has alittle left. Morales gave everything he had left which wasnt much vs that bum David Diazi n the 1st 6-7 rounds.
EM could box his ass off when he wanted to...but you can't change what lies inside. The man was a beast and when time came for it, that beast more often than not came out. Sometimes it was stupid but ultimately worth it...I mean if you need an example of more guts than brains, watch him go southpaw for NO APPARENT REASON against Pac in their 1st fight. It's insanity. Sides even if he boxed his ass off against EM and Pac--noone is the same after three fights with both Pac Man and MAB.
Morales is done, there is nothing left for him, he left it all in the ring. Barrera has some more left in the tank but most of us would rather he stayed retired.
