I know it's been done a billion times..but still..I just can never get my mind around just how to skilled fighters like these two can exact such a beating on each other for twelve rounds like that..I get goose pumps every time I watch this fight. The intensity..the brutality..Incredible,Not sure I'm gonna see another one quite like that in my lifetime again. What a fight.:good
What a fight, every time I watch it I rewind the end of Round 9 (I believe) to watch that combination by Barrera. Great display of modern day warriors.
The hate between the two is what drove this fight to the next level..Had they been ordinary vatos..don't think would have been the same. What a fight tho'.:good
Gatti and Ward became great friends after taking each other to hell and back, after similar Blood Sweat and Tears its a pity Marco and Erik couldnt become closer, the problem seems to lie with Erik for some reason, i hope any grudgeing respect can perhaps blossom in the future.
that was the very first fight i ever seen when i was 9 years old got me hooked on the sport i was amazed to see such willpower and resolve from two men favourite fight ever
Great for a first fight!. I think mine was De la Hoya vs Quartey..., was a nice fight and hooked me also.
That is the fight that got me hooked. To me that is the perfect combination for a fight. If we were waiting for a fight and this is what we got no one would complain. They say the closest thing to a perfect fighter was Sugar Ray Robinson The closest thing to a perfect fight is Morales-Barrera I
interesting topic actually. first fight you watched. Mine was Leonard Duran 1. deserves it's own thread.
It never gets boring, some of the greatest fights even become tiresome if you overdo it,but this is the Sopranos of great fights, you always find something you never noticed before.
