Morales, Barrera, Inoue at 122: How do you rank their careers and H2H?

Inoue was AMAZING at the 108, 112, 115, 118 range. Just a killer with blazing speed and crushing power. But at 122 he’s not hurting them quite as much, so I see him struggling with the likes of Morales and Barrera. We won’t know unless or until he meets a really talented foe at 122.

 

I think if Inoue beats nakatani an Rodriguez at 122 he will surpass both morales and Barrera at that weight. With h2h it’s harder to say. Inoue will be 33 soon an is maybe at the most vulnerable stage of his career in regards not only to his age but his punch power an resistance which obviously was a lot better in the weights below 122. Barrera and morales were younger an maybe hungrier when at 122 so I say it’s too close to call h2h

 

Barrera, despite the Jones losses, had some superhuman efforts against Mckinney and Morales. Erik was fortunate to get the Barrera decision but also looked brilliant. Then there's the fact he took out Jones. Both left fine legacies at super-bantam.

Inoue has no dance partner like the two above, sure, but he's been a busy bee. Fulton, Nery, MJ and Cardenas can all scrap. If he fights - and beats - Nakatani, then it's not a reign to be sniffed at. As good as the other two? Depends on how many more defences he racks up.

Part of me feels obligated to side with the best versions of Barrera and Morales in a H2H, but the Japanese has speed, power, footwork, counters, bags of heart...they're mouth-watering hypotheticals.
