“In 2000, I was training for a fight in Texas and sparred three or four rounds with Mayweather. Mayweather’s father Floyd Sr. was my trainer and got me to spar with his son. I had him groggy and reeling but he never went down.

if morales was telling porkies he would said i knocked him down like most people say but he just said he had him hurt and reeling basicly owning him!

It wouldn't surprise me if Morales got the better of Floyd in sparring. I mean if you are training for a fight you are likely sparring multiple days a week over a number of weeks, you will have good and bad days in sparring.

Also have to factor in how close each fighter is to their next fight.

True, still believe Floyd would win in an actual fight though.

We have a few different rumors of Mayweather getting beat up in sparring. But no rumors of him getting beat up and losing a professional fight though. :think

A hell of a boxer who would be facing a bad styles match up for him.

This is really really really old news and was highly known among boxing circles. In addition, Morales was an absolute beast at 122.

How so? There isn't a boxer at the lower weights that Mayweather couldn't handle. Morales went life and death with Guty Espadas and Wayne McCollugh instance
