long live morales HE WON the fight

and if those idiot judges wanna give maidana a bull**** win thats fine also everyone who watched the fight agrees morales was robbed, and morales is still a huge winner in my book for lasting the full 12 rounds against maidana when morales is out of hes weight division and long out of hes prime

    ALL TIME ****ING GREAT!

Definitely an event win for Morales. Just wish he could've finished that last round stronger and left no doubt...not that it would have made a difference with those ridiculously bad 8-4 cards for Maidana.

The lasting images from that fight in my mind will be the numerous clean combinations he landed, the instances where he drove Maidana back to the ropes, and the time he had Maidana really hurt from that left hook. A couple times in the fight, Morales looked a bit like the Morales of old. Obviously slower and not as sharp, but he had that same fire and passion!

Maidana's only successful moments were when he'd shove Morales back to the ropes, pin him with one hand, press his head up against Erik, and chop unskillfully at the right side of his body and then throw some clubbing **** to the head. What an amateurish, forgettable, truly mediocre fighter he is.

Terrific thread. This has to be the second greatest EVT win of the year. Just behind Solis EVT1 Vitali.
