    he won 2 of there 3 fights I'd like to use the excuse that Morales was fairly shopworn in the 3rd but so was Barrera however I will say though he never put on a boxing clinic on the level of Barrera vs Hamed, Morales was a better boxer overall.

    I don't think Morales was all that shopworn in '04. Not only did the Mexican remain very, very competitive in his third fight with Marco Antonio Barrera, but he'd then go and put on the best performance of his long career against Manny Pacquiao in his very next fight. It also speaks volumes that Morales is still fighting today, giving top fighters at 140lbs hell for 12 rounds. This is seven years on, Stiltskin.

    Moreover, I never went along with the idea that Morales was the superior Boxer. When exactly was this proven? Whilst Morales was given very tough fights against the likes of Guty Espadas Jr, Wayne McCullough, and In Jin Chi, Marco was fighting a similar level of opposition in Naseem Hamed, Enrique Sanchez, and Robbie Peden, beating all of them in very dominant fashion.

    I also thought the MAB/EM rematch could have been awarded either way with neither fighter ever establishing dominance over the other.
