Maybe not, but try this. Get a pillow, pad it around your fist, hit yourself as hard as you can, now get a sock, pad it around your fist and hit your face as hard as you can. "Scientifically" speaking, which hurt more? Less padding or more padding?

    DUDE the experiment is wrong,

The force doesnt change, the type of impact changes,

If i hit u with 3kg of feathers it will do less impact damage than bareknuckle

The weight of the gloves are the same, but there is a little more cushion tranfer in the knuckle area of the Winning gloves.
The ammount is very minimal that it should'nt make a huge difference.

A good fighter worth his salt wins with any brand glove.

......and for the record, Pacquiao wore Reyes in fights 2 and 3 vs Morales.
.......now whether people chose to say that it was the gloves that were the difference, thats their choice.

I say Morales was having trouble making weight, and he looked like **** vs Raheem leading to those last two Pacquiao fights.

if mike tyson throws the same right hook with a huge pillow

then mike tyson throws a right hook wtih a metal pole in his hand

The force stays the same, but the Type of impact changes.

Thats the dumbest thing I've ever heard. First only a fool would actually do your little experiment. Secondly the difference in padding between and pillow and a sock, isn't even close to the miniscule difference between a winning glove and everlast glove, reyes glove, grant glove, or any other brand.

You havent sparred much ask anyone who has sparred with many different gloves, its not the force that changes its the type of impact

you hit someone with a metal pole, or you hit someone with a pillow or cushion..

the impact changes, force stays the same.

Its not a issue of force, so that video experiment you posted is wrong, its the type of impact,

hit someone with a metal pole or hit them with cushion.

Same force from your bodie and legs is generated.

didn't morales change to same reyes gloves as Pac for the third fight? that would suggest he thought the gloves may have been an influence in the second fight.

Gloves padding mainly effect type of impact not force transferred,

i throw a Hook with a Knife/Metal Pole, or a hook with my Fist,

Type of impact is "different" because material is different although same force transferred.

weren't they both wearing the same type of gloves in the fight? Therefore both of the fighters punching power would be lowered and it would be equal? The only person that I saw get hurt in this fight was Maidana. I guess Erik has huge power at 140 with pillows on his fists?

Could be. Looks like Morales could have benefited from 'punchers' gloves himself a few times though, so it cuts both ways.
