Look at the content of pbfs resume though. As it stands a past it dlh has been his best win. And it was also a very close fight. Ha
Addie, every judge had Morales up 7-3 after 10 rounds. .....and be real here, Pacquiao barely won those 3 rounds while Morales dominated his. Morales was hurting Pacquiao. Point is that after 10 rounds, Pacquiao needs a KO or to score a bunch of knockdowns on every official card to win. Thats when Morales turned southpaw and let Pacquiao have the last 2 rounds. I dont think it was stupid for Morales to turn southpaw, what was stupid was that he turned southpaw and refused to return to his conventional stance despite the fact Pacquiao was putting a beating on him those last two rounds. Addie, the fight is viewed as an ass kicking by Morales because its exactly what it was. Pacquiao was never in the fight. Even in the last round where Morales refused to turn back conventional, everyone knew it was pointless for Pacquiao unless he knocked out Morales.
"Ass-kicking" is too strong a term. An "ass-kicking" ensued when Julio Cesar Chavez beat the **** out of a fighter named Terrance Ali. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmQ6dfsxecI[/ame]
To be fair, Alli is'nt at the level of Pacquiao. When you take into account what Pacquiao does best, speed, quickness and that devestating straight left, what both Morales an Marquez were able to do do against him I do classify as dominating. Not dominating to the extent Chavez did vs Alli, but of course Pacquiao is leagues above the caliber of Alli. Btw, what infighting brilliance by Chavez against not only Alli, but many of his opponents. Never have seen such tactical and technical brilliance on the inside at that level in my 30+ years as a fan. For as much credit as the true boxing fan gives Chavez for his infighting skill, I think even by the hardcore boxing fans, Chavez does'nt get the credit he deserves for his brilliance.
I honestly don't see how that's relevant? An ass-kicking is an ass-kicking, regardless of the quality of opposition. Pacquiao lost a close but clear decision, he didn't get his ass kicked. I'm sorry. It just didn't happen, D. We'll agree to disagree. Agreed. JCC was an awe-inspiring performer.
*******s still butt hurt. Your boy got revenge when Morales was old, weight drained and past it. Give Morales some ****ing credit.
Its one of my favourite fights of my 2 favourite fighters, morales was truly epic that night, him going southpaw was legendary, both guys showed great heart, scored it a very clear 115-113 Morales. Luckily for him as Pacs legacy grows so will his, he will end up the only person to clearly beat prime pacquiao.
It shouldn't. Morales beat a 130lbs Pacquiao. Today's version is a far greater fighter, and that has been the case for a number of years now.
You get it:thumbsup Pacquiao vs Morales 1 is what makes boxing so great: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fiash8PlGRg&list=FLtgsqFoQBZZkWi1ZwHhNsuQ&index=10[/ame] deal:deal
