    Oh my...

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"My plans are to return to the ring in 2009," says Mexican ring legend Erik Morales. The legendary three-division champion told esto that he plans to come back in a ten-rounder, then seek a championship fight. "I think I can come back and fight again and win a championship because I don't consider myself finished," he continued. "There's nothing unusual in taking a long break like Roy Jones or Felix Trinidad have done. I saw the action between Armando Santa Cruz and Joel Casamayor, and I believe that at this point I do better." In the meantime, Morales has begun working as the new director of the Municipal Institute of Sport in Tijuana.

Im one of his biggest fans but i disagree with him. He has looked done to me for a few years now. As much as i miss him i just dont want to see him in there but his stuborness is what made him great.

    PLEASE DON'T RETURN ERIC!

    Barrera will be back.
Now it looks like Morales will be back.

They just can't accept the fact that their BODY can't bear what their soul and heart wants.

I don't like Sulaiman and I don't like Arum much but they possibly have the effect on Erik so they should ask him not to return.

Why do you think he will be in great shape?

After the PacMan win he took off a few months and fought a tune-up in LW against Raheem and you saw what happened. That was followed by two big knockout losses and a close decision loss to Diaz whom he'd finish off in 3 rounds (or minutes) in his prime.

He should've retired after the PacMan win. He didn't.
He should've retired after the Raheem loss. He didn't.
He should've retired after the first PacMan loss. He didn't.
He should've retired after the second PacMan loss. He didn't.
He retired after the Diaz loss.

And now he wants to get back? I'm sorry, but Santa Cruz, Casamayor and the top dogs in the LW division today are on a higher level then Diaz...

his pride must still be aching after losing four in a row.If he comes back he really needs to step down the competition in his next three fights and get some respect back by winning a few fights like roy jones has done

Eric doesnt need to do this ****, what else does he feel he needs to prove? Every boxing fan I know respects and admires him, he doesnt need any more fights, hes achieved so much, he should let it be

Fighting again will affect his record if he keeps losing, you are healthy, calm down.
