I think Morales would like to do a Jones-Trinidad type of fight so maybe another oldie, another big name would be his choice. In that case I wouldn't count out a Barrera-Morales IV but I don't think that ANY fight should be made neither with Barrera, nor with Morales.

Rematch with Zahir Raheem, he's been fighting very shitty after that fight.

Why do you want to add another loss to Raheem to Morales' record?

If Morales had retired after his win to Pac, his legacy would have been absolutely amazing.

Morales is too much of a warrior for his own good. He doesn't need to come back, but he has that fighters pride, which tells you that you can do it one more time, despite the fact that all those watching can see you are at least three years past your prime.

I'd prefer him to stay retired. Its not easy seeing him at this point in his career when he gave so many great performances.

He's a grown man and its his decision so what the hell.

Hopefully he doesnt compound it by moving to 140.

A fight between he and Barerra might make sense if they insist on fighting.

Erik, fight a farewell fight in Tijuana against some second-tier like Garnica, knock him out, for the fans and for your ego, and then retire. You've proved that you're a warrior and a great fighter.

The biggest problem that I think he still wants that 4th division title.

It was all part of the plan. The really average Top Rank fighter David Diaz luckily won the WBC INTERIM title so it became clear that they want a Diaz-Morales fight.

The only problem was that Casamayor was the legitimate WBC champ at the time but luckily for Erik (I'm sorry but that's true) his good fried Jose Sulaiman is a Mexican too so they just stripped Casamayor, gave the title to Diaz then when Joel's team threatened with a court case the inserted him back as an INTERIM champ.

So everything was set up for an easy night for the great Morales but he couldn't pull it off. It was close fight but ALL of the LW elite fighters today are on a higher level than Diaz.

I don't even see Morales being able to go 12 rounds with Juan Diaz, Khan, Katsidis or Casamayor. And I think he's still looking for the forth title. He shouldn't. We'll remember him as a GREAT WARRIOR anyway 4th title or not so he shouldn't aim for something he just can't pull off.

    Please Erik, stay retired.
