Morales/Lucas on PBF/Ortiz undercard!!!

I'm not sure if Morales is doing this because of money facing this Lucas is not a joke tremendous risk for his well being.

 

Great undercard! I have to give credit where credit is due: GBP has put on some good undercards in recent memory, and it's just what boxing needs!

As for this fight, some say it'll be close because Lucas fights like Maidana - ie., brawler/puncher style - but I think Lucas is a more refined, straighter puncher.

I think Morales will get (T)KO'd inside 9 rounds. Lucas catches guys late - Zab, Alexander - and I think he'll catch Morales somewhere around round 8/9 and it'll be over soon after that initial KD.

Goooood fight, though.

Excuse me for thinking that a fighter that clearly lost his last fight and hasnt had a relevent win in over 5 years doesnt deserve a title shot.

This is great for us fans.....this is what promotional competition gets us, a great PPV card.

......make no mistake, GBP is positioning themselves to be the ones to promote a possible Mayweather fight with Pacquiao.
They are going to all lenghths for Mayweather's fight to outsell Pacquiao's fight with Marquez.

Originally I did'nt think Mayweather-Ortiz would come close to breaking a million buys, but with adding Canelo and Morales to attract more of the Latino buys, I think those two fights alone will add 350K+ buys to the promotion.

No way could the Mayweather-Ortiz fight alone come close to topping the sales that Pacquiao-Marquez will generate, but now it may very well happen.

 

If Morales wins the 4th it won't be easy... and it will be well earned. I didn't think the other guy deserved a title shot.. but Mathysse does, in fact he should be a champ now.....this is a legit fight for a Title... as you can argue Mathysee is undefeated ...

MorAllah is truly a bad ass for taking 2 hard fights in a row.
