I don't know if any of you guys caught the SOLO BOXEO event friday night, but Tommy Hearns was there, so was De la Hoya, Marquez, and Morales. Anyway during the fight with Guerrero I believe the commentators had asked Morales some questions about his upcoming fights, he said he would be fighting July 17 or 30(1?) against an unnamed opponent. Shortly after they had Marquez speak in during another fight, and said he's next fight was his rematch with Juan Diaz late July (30 or 31 I keep forgetting). Anyways Morales and Marquez seem to be having their next fights within a week of each other, and the commentators asked Morales if he would be interested in facing Marquez, he didn't give a definitive answer but didn't say the fight wasn't out of the question. I would have loved to see this fight years ago, but not now... Oh and another interesting note, Morales said he isn't being promoted by anybody at the moment, but is independent which I thought was a little strange.
