Morales-Matthysse Best fight on Sept 17th!!!

Ortiz/Mayweather for me.

Looking forward to all 3 though. Big fan of Gomez and Alvarez, but think Alvarez wins via KO within 4.

Same with Morales fight. I see him struggling massively. and losing in 5 or 6.

 

I expect the Morales fight to be the best fight of the night by far...all action war!

 

I believe Matthysse is better than Maidana. I actually rate him at 3 in the 140 division.

However stylewise this is a better fight than Maidana for Morales. Matthysse is a boxer with power. I dont think he can outbox Morales who has a high IQ and that is the reason he has been competitive since coming back and somewhat successful.
Obviously an old guy with old legs will have problems with either speed or a grinding brawler. Matthysse is not exactly either of those.

However his corner is very smart and i think if they implement a style which is different than normal and make this a drag out war then they win. If they use Matthysse typical style which is power boxing then they lose. Morales is just as tricky as he ever was and apparently the chin is still somewhat there. Its the legs that are faded.

Im seriously considering placing a bet on Morales.
