I think Morales has more names on his resume.

Yeah he is 1-2 against Barrera but all 3 were very close fights, so when looking at all there other fights outside of each other, Morales has the better record in my opinion.

I have to give it to Barerra, he has one of the best scalps ever in Naseem Hamed

They are both great warriors and i always considered them even but the way they both went out i would have to say i go with Morales. And by the way they went out im referring to the way they both went out against Pac.

Morales went out swinging and trying to brawl with Pac for those 3 rounds while MAB just didnt have the guts to pull the trigger.

How can both these fighters be judged based on 1 common opponent ? Its like forgetting what they did prior to:patsch meeting PAC..

Barrera, but it's a close call.

He's got more losses than Morales but he won the trilogy (all 3 (close) fights IMO) and I think his win over Hamed is much more impressive than Morales' close win over PacMan since when Pac didn't look 100% at SFW. When he became stronger, Erik couldn't keep up with him anymore. Of course it wasn't the prime Morales.

Also, the 2nd Barrera-PacMan fight showed that with 70% of his prime skills he could easily avodided getting knocked out and boxed pretty well even hurting Pacquiao a few times, so I think the Barrera who defeated Naseem would've given PacMan a boxing lesson to win a much wider decision than a prime Morales...

But it's a tough call. He lost 2 fights vs. Jones and Morales just murdered Junior. But MAB beat the man twice who beat him twice.

put it this way if morales never took those rematches he would have been undefeated. He holds a win against MAB's conquererors(jones and pac). Out of his trilogies with barrera he holds the most important win imo, the unification of the titles at 122.

Its morales for me but barrera is close

I rank Morales 1 position higher, although i have no quarrels with someone who wants to rank Barrera higher. I think Morales holds the slightly better Resume due to the win over Pacquiao. Head to Head there practically even, with every one of their fights being close.

I do however think Barrera was a better overall fighter and more multi-dimensional.
