Which fight do you think was better. I go with Marquez/Pacquiao, more competitive even though there was no definitive winner. Though Morales turning southpaw was epic.

PAC vs Morales was better. One eyed PAC Reyeless moving up in weight giving Morales a close fight.

Both were great, great fights! Morales had more significance for me because he was looked at as an aging warrior who wasn't favored to win the fight and put on one of his better performances of his career, while boxing and beating Manny at his own game!

JMM though older was more fresher and more preserved because of his style of being a boxer/puncher. He relied heavily on his counter punching ability, and it paid off big time against the aggression of Pac. For him to be knocked down 3 times in the first, and come back the way he did was excellent and set the tone for one of the best, most entertaining rivalries of any era.

Both were great memorable first fights, but being I like Morales better, I'd go with Morales-pacquaio I!

I voted Morales, but it could have been Marquez too, both great fights.

Marquez comeback is one of the reasons I choose that. Incredible stuff.

Pac won the first round 10-6. That put Marquez in a 4 round hole to start off.

Two tremendous fights. The first one with JMM had the drama of Marquez recovering from that opening round and mounting a comeback but there was more sustained action in the Morales fight.

The Marquez fight was closer (I had it a draw) but it didn't have the bell-to-bell brilliance of Pac-Morales (and the 12th round was just vintage Erik).
