I hear you Addie. I'll admit I make some of my posts a bit long.

.....but actually when I'm debating someone that I know is versed and knowleadgeable on the subject, you'll find that I tone the lenghth of my posts down, knowing that the person I'm debating with knows the nuances and intracacies of the subject matter that I dont have to verse them on certain specifics that I may think they're not in the know of.

.....and to make this post run a sentence or two long:D I find it that too many posters give an opinion but dont like to back their opinions up with facts to support that opinion.
So yeah, when I give an opinion, I like to back it up with information to support it.;)

Weight draining makes your body do this even if your heart tells you to go...

Nah. Morales chose not to get up. He could have, he just didn't want to.

Nah, seriously Addie, I often times dont agree with you, but I consider you knowlegeable on the subject matter that I think you'll find if you rehash some of our old arguments, my essays are responses to quotes by others on the same thread you responded to me also.

......I dont think there's too many times that I quoted you and proceeded to write a terribly long response.

Do me a favor, point it out to me when I do, and tell me how you would have made my essay effort alot shorter and came out with the same end result.

I dont mind some friendly criticism on my writing skills.

Are you aware that the afternoon of the official weighinand the morning of the fight, beat writers observed and wrote that Morales seemed emaciated and looked about to pass out?

Morales is a warrior. He beat the roided one dimensional midget so badly and he fought him 3 times

But floyd mayweather jr is not willing to fight that roided midget even just for one fight

    Just some friendly banter, chief.

There's nothing wrong with giving detailed explanations in debate. It's far better than the one word answers we often see on the General Forum. Keep doing what you're doing, brah.

i really dont know how anyone can argue with any of that....but they will

i dont believe one person has ever called oliver mccall a quitter...they talk about his chin in that fight...but forget that he ****ing quit....and a guy like cotto is practically beat to death and calls it a day in the 11th round...and somehow he is a quitter...amazing the logic...

If we're talking about the third fight, then I stick by what I said. Morales knew where he was and was physically capable of rising to his feet. He just didn't want to, for whatever reason.

    10.07. Quite clear.

And yes, I'm totally aware of the weight issues leading up to the fight.

funny you say say that..i was just watching one of the countdowns (assuming fight 3 showing footage from fight 2) and is is the one where morales actually looked fat at the presser to announce the fight...and at the weigh in he looked like a skelteon ..got off the scale and and was ready to pass out..as you said...he looked horrible...

I was actually referring to the number of Klitschko haters I expected to jump all over that. I guess I was wrong. Nobody is perfect.
In fairness to McCall, who gave us some decent fights like the one against Seldon, wasn't he suffering from drug abuse and other issues at the time? Now I realize that he ultimately broke down when he realized he couldn't close his eyes and land that magic punch again but weren't there contributing factors?

You're an idiot. That clearly shows a weigth drained fighter getting hammered. He was still throwing straight rights as dazed and beat as he was. He didn't run or try to grab, he kept fighting. He got bombed with sick straight lefts. Those punches have put many to sleep.
Barrera quit against Pac before the second fight started.
Maybe we should make a thread about that.

The reason why I say I'm allright with getting criticized and pointed to in a better way to write a response is because I've heard from other posters that my posts are to long.
.......if this is the case, I'm all for someone giving me a helping hand. Take a long post I've written for example and letting me know how they would have worded it instead.

Predictions for example......how many posters write, "Pac by KO".....but have nothing else othere than that to offer?

In a prediction thread, I dont mind reading at least a paragraph depicting why and in what way does one think Pacquiao will KO Marquez in less than X ammount of rounds.
......saying, "Pac's a better fighter now, Marquez wont make it past the midpoint", just is'nt enough for me."

I like reading the details on why a particular person is opiniating the way they are.

I'll work on it though, I know I can probably cut a sentence or two from my posts to not make it so long.
