Oh doesn't look good for El Terrible. He always look like a recovering heroin addict but he just does not look healthy.
I've seen some recent sparring footage of El Terrible, and he looks dis-interested imo. It just doesn't seem like the fire is truely there. I really hope I'm wrong, and the ol' warrior Morales does what truely great legends do, and give one last great effort against Maidana. But I feel Morales already did that against Diaz... I still pick Maidana to win, by a sad tko, in a fight that goes on longer than it should...
I am not suggesting that Morales will win this one but your point is moot. He clearly beat Diaz, that was a disgusting robbery and Morales would likely have retired now if it wasn't for that. They did that so they could set up Pacquiao-Diaz because the no interest im MP-EM 4 imo. I would not completly right off Morales though. If he's really trained hard and we see the Maidana that fought Corley then why can't Morales win? My biggest fear for Morales is that Maidana isn't a monstourous one punch KO artist but a really good accumilation puncher. If you take a look at fights where fighters have been really hurt it's after a sustained beating and Morales has the chin and heart to take one of those from Maidana. At the end of the day though Morales is an adult and it's his decision to fight. I think he'll be ok and I'm not putting an upset past him.
Boxing is due another Glorious feel good night like the one where as a huge underdog Roberto Duran knocked down and decisioned Iran Barkley. Barkley in his previous fight had KTFO Tommy Hearns in three rounds. War TERRIBLE!:bbb:bbb:bbb:bbb
It'd be incredible wouldn't it? Morales turning back the clock once last time and the retiring on top.
