how can their be a prime for prime at 135 when morales was never in his prime at 135 or even near that weight.
Morales-Corrales - hey, that rhymes. Unfortunately, one, (the one that's alive) when prime, wasn't at 135.
It's a fantasy match-up. And Morales was champion at 130 so he could go up to 135. And my question sounds, who would win. Simple
Morales was too small, too hittable, too prone to trade. Morales is the greater fighter, better P4P, but Chico stops him.
Morales gets some good shots in early, but would get beaten up by the bigger and more powerful fighter. He wouldn't go the distance at lightweight.
I voted Corrales based on how both have looked in their times at 135.... Corrales looked great at times & Morales looked sluggish vs both Raheem & Diaz. I dont see Corrales stopping Morales but I think his size, power & being more natural at the weight earns him a points win in a war type fight, Erik would outbox him in spots as he is the superior technician & greater p4p fighter but 135 is more Diego`s territory.
