Can Willie limond go to mexico and pull off a major upset by beating morales?

I personally think he can, and there are some good odds out there for a win as well!

Get stuck in Willie and do Scotland proud!

He has a chance because Eric is well passed his prime. I haven't seen Eric comeback fights so i can't give to good an account. Willie's not worst opponent. This shows Eric is serious on this comeback. Willie must snatch this, Not go there and lose narrowly if he wants to make a noise he gotta win and win well.

Morales has not stopped anyone since Guti Espadas in 2003, he`s had 1 win since beating Pacquiao in 05 vs unheard of Alfaro, Morales is naturally smaller than Limond, more past his best, older & is gonna struggle badly to make the LW limit as his last fight was at 147 lbs.

I hope Morales does the business tho, Limond has a great shot vs this version of El Terrible but I hope - as always - that Morales wins.

Should be a good fight tho.

He`s only had one comeback fight vs Jose Alfaro at WW, the whole fight is on youtube, its a decent fight, check it out, Erik looked ok, good in patches, he used his boxing to bag the rds & went to war when he had to, he looked a bit flabby around the waist, he will need to be trimmer if he is to beat Limond.

Im a little worried for Morales, I hope he sees Willie as a threat, if he does, his boxing should see him thru.

i see limond taking morales the full 12 rounds but eric has home advantage and i dont see limond doing enough or having enough pop to trouble the ageing legend.

Limond has been picked to make Morales look good. They have sold this fight to the Mexican people based on Limonds record (31-2 or something along those lines). I would expect Morales to win in style and then look for a fight at Lightweight (to see if he can get down to 135lbs) before a fight next year against Marquez.

Would love to see Willie pull it off.
