Morales vs Maidaina to hopefully be set for July, I think Morales wins this one, hes too wise and cute to have not learned from the last fight.

Granted the first fight was close but why does Maidana get a pass for fighting an old Morales? He should be looking to fight Ortiz.

Can't see Morales repeating the trick a second time. Maidana scores a late KO.

What trick??? Maidana is the one with cheap tricks, Morales is the one with ringcraft and boxing skills. I

`m an avid fan of Morales i wrote him off before the 1st fight, i had it a draw 114- 114 shame Erik tired in the last 2 rds he`d of won on my card. Not writing him off this time.

Cannot see Morales being able to produce the same performance, surely Maidana won't be as under prepared this time. I can see a mid round- late stoppage for him

I dont want this fight to happen. I feel Maidana will wipe the floor with Morales second time round.

Well i certainly didnt see any change in maidana since fighting Khan which tells me he aint taking things in and has stayed fighting the way he does, some fighters cant adjust their styles. I think morales will have grown in confidence after the semi schooling he gave Maidana. Maidana just slugs and brawls and hopes to catch ya with a swing. Morales has far more skill and knowledge.

Maidana will force a stoppage this time. He needs a serious re-think but has more on his side than Morales does at this stage IMO.

Morales legs will flee him moreso with every passing day. He will likely be broken down by a Maidana who will likely fight at a more measured pace and chuck everything about Morales in the championship rounds, which Maidana dominated as Morales faded, but he didn't have enough (oomph or skills, the latter is unlikely to change anytime soon IMO) to finish the job.

Morales deserves 'closure' by fighting JMM IMO.

If Bradley Khan dosent come off let JMM whip Bradley and then fight Morales

Probably go much the same as the first time. Not that interested in seeing this again. It was a good fight, but there's other fighters I'd prefer to see Maidana matched up against.

Well if Maidana fights at a more measured pace that might just backfire on him too with Morales winning more rounds earlier due to his skills accuracy and cleaner punching. Lets not forget it was Maidana `s legs that did a dance not Morales, and Morales took Maidana`s best shots, Morales semi schooled Maidana with one eye, though credit must go to Maidana for causing that. Maybe Maidana might Ko morales in the championship Rds but if he cant and fights at a measured pace and Morales wins more rounds earlier he might lose by UD.

what if this happens, does anyone think morales could be a bit sharper what with his 1st comeback fight and his 2nd training camp having sharpened his tools a bit more, ok i know hes knocking on but morales showed some good spurts for me against a younger more powerfull maidana??....

maybe morales can get the full distance and maybe sneak it on points.

big ask granted but im just trying to weigh the situation up as a whole.
