Morales is some type of demi god on this board so i can say with confidence he will easily win this poll.

That said when it comes to the 3 mexican greats Marquez is horribly underrated especially h2h.

I think Marquez has too much depth to his game for Morales to overcome especially on his offensive accuracy.
That said Morales will win this poll easily.

Big fan of both fighters though.

If Morales boxes then Morales by UD
If Morales pushes the fight and tries to brawl JMM by UD

JMM is lousy against fighters who dont push the fight towards him and made a name of just beating come forward fighters.

Im sorry but a all Mexican superfight with giant egos on the line and you think Morales is going to box? :)
Morales found a way to get into life an death wars even with heavily overmatched opponants.
And even if he boxes hes not a super slick speedster which is the type to give Marquez trouble, JMM can easily match him if they box.

Sad part is i actually agree, i still cant pick against Marquez in a h2h between them though even if it pains me.

Can only try to look at it objectively and see how the styles mesh up.

But obviously Morales on his day could KO SRR.

Morales boxed against MAB in the rematch and that fight had more ego on the line than any of the other 3 fights.

And it doesnt take a slick speedster to outbox JMM, just dont press the fight and let him come to you.

See Norwood fight, John fight , first half of MAB fight, first 10 rds of Shot Casamayor fight and Mayweather fight.

And Marquez has a very strong case of winning the Norwood, and John fights (the john fight being a flat out home cooked decision), and was winning against Casa at the time of the stoppage, and WON against Barrera. Only Mayweather beat him clearly. You forgot to add that, *******.

Watch the fights before you comment about them Gustavo.

The fact that JMM shows that he had troubled with guys who dont come forward shows that he has trouble outboxing boxers.

But at the end of the day, he gets the job done, which was my point, Boomita. The only time he clearly got outboxed was against Mayweather, someone who would never get outboxed by anyone in his era.

Outboxing boxers?, JMM is one of the best boxers in decades. Marquez has nearly out-boxed everybody lately.

Referring to the OP: I think it would also be a ridiculous war. I'm unable to see who'd win...

I voted more Marquez just to add balance because I know Morales wold be the favorite, but imo it's a toss up.

Morales was better than Barrera, but not by very much, and JMM is better than Barrera as well but not by much.

So it all depends who can make the other fighter fight his fight. I say if the fought 10 times it can look something like 5/5.

So your saying John, Norwood, way past prime Mab, Shot Casmayor are better boxers than the Morales that fought Pacquiao the first time?

    Exactly....

Lets take a look at JMM's 3 most impressive displays

    1. Juan Diaz
    2. Michael Katisdas
    3. Rocky Juarez

You see a pattern there? oh wait no you're an idiot so Ill tell you. They are all come forward fighters.

Boom_Boom doesn't know much about boxing. He has Pacquiao as his base and foundation, and he tries to somehow link Pac into all his arguments, even in the most sublime ways.

So you're right, at the end of the day JMM got the job done, and Boomita don't know **** outside of being a dragqueen and Pacquiao's nuts.
