    Matthysse (sd 28-2-0-1, 26 KOs), who was doing his training camp in La Pampa , Argentina, suffered health difficulties that forced him to withdraw from the match against Morales (51-7, 35 KOs). Since Monday, Lucas affected his preparation because of health difficulties around a viral infection that prevents him from continuing with its plans, causing it to stop training, and thus failing to reach its first World Cup opportunity.

    "I feel very hurt. This was the fight of my life. But just could not get out to fight. I am not able. I apologize to the organization by this unexpected and painful situation"

    Maidana wasn't in shape last time they fought he won't do it again for less money and out of shape.

    Interesting considering he could win a new belt and rectifiy a controversial fight. In MMA, Maidana would be straight in on that fight.

    With Morales vs Mattyhse off the card just got weak.
