Floyd wins quite easily @ this weight. Far superior boxing skills and has the power @ 130 to dispatch of Morales 'a'la' Corrales

Your lack of boxing knowlege has been exposed. If anyone is getting stopped in this fight it will be EM.:deal EM was the man but his willingness to go to war would be his undoing against PBF. He would have been outbrawled, outboxed and ultimately stopped by PBF at 130. Who is the GOAT at that weight. He was too good offensively, defensively and had great power at that weight.

mayweather is a too big for morales, el terrible.

he is the only mexican fighter that i have truly admired both for grit, heart and fighting abilitiy.

if they could have fought at 122 or 126, i would favor morales. he has heavy hands and has never been stopped except when he fought pac. at 135 he fought a decent fighter in diaz and took flush shots but never went down.

his overhand right and stiff jab would probably keep pbf off balance. and his upright stance would be difficult for pbf to take potshots since he will not be rushing in to brawl.
el terrible is the man. i think it is incomprehensible for people to assume that pbf will knock out el terrible if they fought at 122, 126 or even at 130 prime for prime.

people are deluding themselves if they think that pbf has a 100% knock out rate.

and lastly, erik is not called el terrible for nothing.

Morales wouldn't beat Floyd at 130...At 130 Floyd was a beast..IMO he is the greatest of all time at 130...He could box and move or stand and trade; fight on the inside and the outside...he had power along with ring smarts...he could also pressure you as well...Floyd Ko 11

Mayweather would have his hands full with prime Chavez and Camacho Sr.

Camacho Sr, in addition to being uberly talented, is also a very tough style matchup for Floyd.

That is an oxy moron. Morales was not prime aat 130 and it is not his best weight even if he would have fought there during his best years.

Morales nver fought anyone like floyd wheras floyd has fought guys that are similar to Morales and dominated them.

Exactly PBF was a lot more active back at 130 his workrate was great and his lateral movement was without peer. He would be all wrong for EM and would cut through him like a knife through hot butter.

Morales got schooled by Raheem, because Raheem stuck and moved, albeit past his prime. He had problems with Barrera and Pacquaio's speed.

No way Morales handles a superior boxer, with superior defense, superior speed that is also a superior puncher at the weight. Perhaps he pushes Mayweather hard in a best case scenario, in the worst he takes a 1sided schooling and beating getting stopped late

precisely why i quoted it at 130 prime for prime because this is a mythical matchup. whe morales fought at 130, he was basically at the near the top or little past his prime already. if he fought at 130 when he was say 25-26 years old, i would still fancy my chances of him beating pbf although pbf will still be favored.

my post clearly said pbf is bigger. assuming all things equal, if both are of the same size and age (prime fighting age), i would still fancy my chances for morales. why? he has both skills, grit, stamina, fearsome punching pwoer and heart. while gatti had the heart, he had limited boxing skills. same with other fighters that pbf has fought. the premise would be,

same size, same weight, same fighting age and prime for prime skills. true, pbf would be favored but do you really imagine pbf knocking that guy out like some journeyman? morales went undefeated 35-0 if i am not mistaken.

people are so worked up with pbf "accomplishments", but the truth is, his resume is not really that impressive. look at the number of atg on em lists compared that with pbf. and again, pbf does not have a 100% knock out rate. what makes people think that pbf will knock him out that easily?

You can argue for same weight but not same size. This is a head to head match up not a p4p match up. You can't shrink floyd or blow erik up they would be fighting at 130 as they are.

I said Floyd wins but I am not one of the guys that picked KO although I would not be suprised to see a stoppage. Floyd's accuracy and speed would result in erik taking more punches than he ever has in a fight and they would be clean highlight real punches, the type that makes refs stop fights.

whether its head to head or p4p, does not really matter at this point since both are fantasy match-ups in my opinion.

his naturally bigger size would probably result in him outmuscling em but to assume EM would be taking in highlight reel punches i think is too far off. EM is not a bum who will just allow himself to get hit that easily without throwing leather in return.

he will make this fight interesting.
