Morales wants to fight Maquez

    I favour Marquez as well but I wouldnt count Morales out, he will put his heart and soul on the line again even if he loses a clear decision.
    It isnt the same as it would have been at 126 back in the day but still epic, bot guys are atg's who have accomplished enough to retire now if they want to, why not on a great fight like this one?
    If morales wins its epic, if he loses he is forgiven because of his current version, if marquez wins its a decent win with a epic status but he wont get much credit eventhough I believe it helps his legacy in the long run.
    If he loses it will look bad, but will be forgiven when time goes by.
    This is the last fight of the fab 4 of our era and a big money fight in mexico I think, plus most of the fanst seem to really want to see it:thumbsup

    I see your points, and I suppose from purely an action point of view it makes sense.

    It's just that what this does to their legacy when you look at all the possible outcomes you mentioned and broke down, it's a whole lot of "meh." IMO Morales and Marquez have more to prove against younger fighters than they do against each other at this point. Though I would watch and would not be disappointed if this fight got made.

    I hate to see old boxers get hit but this is still a fight I just gotta see. Would love for it to go down.

    this fight should happen if pacquiao and marquez dont face off next. it's a big money fight for both fighters, an interesting battle and would mean alot to mexican fight fans. the thing is, come on, marquez takes it.

    I have never heard of Morales having any kind of money problems. Actually he donates money to the community all the time.

    As much As I'd like to see this to complete the saga ect...
    (Something not right about watching 2 warriors from the same RAZA clobber each other)

    I say Bradley Vs. JMM or Morales instead...
    (Then a unification match between the winners)

    I think Marquez would unfairly not get any credit at all for a win even though Morales does not appear to be shot, hes obviously not prime but hes got something left.

    Marquez is even older than Morales so if he wins i think he deserves credit.
    Its not like Marquez has not been in enough wars of his own.

    I would love to see this fight but only if Marquez gets some credit if he wins.
    Morales is too dangerous of a fighter even at this stage to just be dismissed as shot to **** if he loses.

    This fight would be more exciting than JMM/Pac cause Morales would not be afraid to get hit like Pac was!
