    From the ESB main page:

    http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=23143&more=1

“The two opponents who have defined my career are Junior Jones and Manny Pacquaio,” Morales said. “Defeating Jones (TKO4) was important to me because he had stopped something like 32 Mexicans in previous fights. Defeating Pacquaio (DEC12) is my greatest accomplishment in the ring. I remember seeing him cry after our fight. I would love another chance at Pacquaio and I also look forward to fighting Juan Manuel Marquez in the future. At 147, I’m faster than ever and freer with my body so I can get the most out of it. First, though, is my fight against Jose Alfaro on March 27th in Monterrey on pay per view. Alfaro is a great young fighter and a former world champion. A wicked puncher who will bring his best, he has a big heart into the ring, and always gives fans everything he has.”

I really hope it never happens. I am sure Pac's camp wont consider it but I wouldnt be that surprised if JMM-Morales ends up happening 6 years too late:verysad

Erik didn't even mention Marco Antonio Barrera....so the Jones win defined his career. Sure it did, Erik. Let it go mate, it's been to long.

Jokes aside, BladeRunner...Marco acknowledges that it's partly because of Erik that he'll go down as one of Mexico's finest. Erik is still very bitter if he wants to believe Jones and Pacquiao defined his career, give me a break.

You gotta be kidding if you think MAB won the second fight.

That is true,MAB even ranks Morales ahead of him on his list of great mexican fighters if he really means it i dont know but he always shows great respect to Morales.

Both of them are mostly known for the fights they had with each other and mentioning Jones and Pac both of whom beat MAB and not mentioning Barrera is a classless act by Morales.

wow, does he really? I would understand if it was clear cut but its pretty close, and to his defense he did beat him twice, I cant think of any reason as to why he would rank Morales above himself. Very modest.

****ing hell! According to Morales's own fans he was shot to the point of being a ghost of a corpse four years ago at super-featherweight because he lost one fight on points in a new weight class - and now he wants to fight Pacquiao at welterweight!! We need a new word for how shot he is now.

Morales was a warrior and a badass in the ring and i respect what he did for boxing and for boxing fans but despite all of that i cant get myself to like the guy cant really explain why either.

I personally don't know what's more unacceptable; passionate Morales fans claiming their fighter to have been a "ghost of a corpse" by 2006, or the Pacquiao fans refusing to acknowledge the Raheem fight ever taking place.

    It's anyone's guess.

He rates Salvador above JCC, interesting.

I dont know what MAB was thinking, either he was just being honest or he was leaving it to the fans as to whether hes above Morales or not.

I don't know any Pacquiao fans who refuse to acknowledge the Raheem fight ever took place. In fact, I know Pacquiao fans with clear and strong opinions on the topic of the Raheem fight, and I know some who have been very vocal on that very subject as well.
