It doesn't matter what side of the fence I am. I can also tell what side of the fence you are in, but is it necessary to delve into that? In fact there's no "side" for me. I'm not a JMM hater if that's what your suggesting. Absolutely NOT. In fact, him and Pac are my TOP 2 favorite fighters right now.

I'm just telling you the truth. It's not like I'm lying and making this **** up. If you have time, try to peruse some of the threads dating back to Pac-JMM 2 you'll see what I mean. I'm not lying if that's what your trying to say. Just trying to put some perspective, 'is all.

Anyway so as to not get off topic, no I don't think Morales is totally "shot" by the second fight. Past his prime but not shot.

Morales was definitely shot for the third fight. No doubt about it. He was sliding fast in the second fight, though there were still glimpses there. First fight was one last epic performance for the man, definitely past his prime, but a great performance.

It's about how he looked in the ring that indicates he was shot, not just the results of fights. He looked slow - handspeed and evasion, lacked power, he couldn't take punches as well, he seemed lethargic all the time... and clearly the desire wasn't even there for the third fight.

It's not taking anything from Pac's wins, it's merely lessening the relevance of Erik's losses.

Past prime and shot are 2 very different hings. Morales was shot by the 3rd, past his prime in the 2nd but most definitely still elite.

Morales was not shot but he was fading. The fights with pacman were what turned him into a shot fighter.

Casa arguably lost to sta. cruz, went life and death with katsidis abd did not beat current p4p 1 fighter 9months before either. Morales lost to mab previously but he did too in his prime, he lost to raheem when he came in overweight at his LW debut against a fast slick fighter...thats like penalizing Casa for loosng to Hatton at his 140lb debut cos he came in overweight. Hardly comparable.

damn chief i guess when your fighter loses its never to a better man on that night
you obviously have no respect for pac and probably believe he would lose to any body who wasn't shot be for real
the man still was at the top maybe not his best ever but so far from shot
the man who beat it outta him was pac and it was not before their second encounter

that is not even a viable comparison casa had looked lackluster and barely fought in the last few years
morales had just thoroughly beaten pacman and this was the return match
like danger said watch the first half of that fight when erik was doing the same thing he did to pac in the first pac took it to another level
he simply refused to be beaten twice

If you want to see whether he was shot or not, just compare his last few fights to how he looked before. Pac might not have beaten a completely SHOT version, but Morales was far from his best in his last couple years. You Pac fans need to get a grip and just accept that. Morales was known for his wars in the ring, dating back to his days @ 122. Takes a heavy toll on you.

Morales wasn't exactly prime when he fought Pac. Either way still a good victory for Pacquaio

    aye thats pacman's strength.

he has great heart and character. never say die.

it's not as common as you might think in fighters.
