he wasn't shot. he's no longer at his peak but still capable of delivering masterful performances. his fight with pac where he won by unanimous decision was his best performance albeit against a fighter coming up quickly in weight from 122 to 126 then to 130.

think about duran who wasn't at his athletic peak after leaving the lightweight division but he was still capable of giving great fights such as what he gave against hagler, barkley, etc. morales was in the same situation when he ran into pacquiao.

pac today isn't in his physical prime too compared to the pac of 122, 126 lbs. but he's capable of giving masterful performances and elite at best. morales was in the same situation when pac ran into him during the first fight. it was the second fight with pac which ultimately sapped the last ounces of greatness left in morales.

    It's a simple argument.

Watch the first fight against Barrera...look at the speed and legs of Morales

Then watch the second and third fights against Pac.

His legs are completely gone and he's arm punching.

How is this even an argument?

the problem with pac is that he developed elite skills when he was no longer at his physical prime. when he was at 122 and 126, he was at his physical peak but has average skills.

anyway, pac of today who possess elite skills despite being out of his physical prime would beat a prime morales head to head.

he was shot in the 3rd fight. In the second fight, alot of the people who are saying he was shot actually picked Moarles to win, and he was also a fave at the bookies.

Shot in the 3rd fight, but not in the 2nd.

Also, Pac was moving up in weight for the first time in the 1st fight, but more accustomed to it in the 2nd and 3rd.

a lot of people focus on morales being not in his prime during the first fight, they completely forgot that pac was more at a disadvantage since he was moving up in weight very fast from 122 to 126 then straight to 130. he was also cut by a headbutt and was losing blood from the fifth round onwards

haha prime for prime, morales will get hit alot. its not like he counterpunches as good as marquez with whom pac could even win rounds.
