Morales would handle Ortiz better than he handled Maidana.

Ortiz learned his lesson vs Maidana and was winning the fight until the stoppage. He'd beat him failry easily in a rematch....he was a novice when he fought Maidaina and it was his first step up in competition, it's like Pac losing to Torrecampo other than Maidana is far better than Torrecampo so Pac's loss is even worse....but still you can't knock young fighters for stepping up and losing at a young age if you knock Ortiz for this loss you have to discredit Pac as well for losing to 2 fighters that couldn't hold Maidana's jockstrap. Morales would get KO'd in the first 3 rounds vs Ortiz. Ortiz is a far better boxer than Maidana and hits as hard or harder. Ortiz now walks around at 170lbs, too much for Morales. But hey keep trying to discredit Ortiz, gonna be funny when Pac takes him as another Mayweather leftover and you same people discrediting him now are gonna try and hype him up and fail miserably like you do with every post.

He did prove it vs Berto in his last fight. Berto clock Ortiz with a huge right hand that hurt Ortiz. Ortiz would have quit right there but instead he fought back and then out of no where he knockdown Berto in the very same round. Ortiz prove that at 147 pounds, he's a much better fighter at this weight then he was at 140 pounds. Anybody disagree is a full fledge ******ed.

 

Morales would have a tough time with Ortiz at first, but who knows later what would happen. Ortiz fought better in his fight with Berto as far as stamina than he usually does. The question is was it Ortiz fighting well or Berto fighting badly.

 

Good analysis, using your logic here: Torrecampo would handle Juan Manuel Marquez with ease because he destroyed Pacquiao when Pac was a novice.

Ortiz as a novice was beating Maidana on all cards until the stoppage and since then has take monstrous blows from a powerful full fledged welter in Berto, we can't knock fighters for losses as a novice but if you're gonna use that logic then Pac must really suck because Torrecampo is nowhere near the level of Maidana as a fighter and he destroyed Pac with a jab, Pac looked like he got shot by a guy who can barely be called a journeyman let alone vs a damn good power punching champ in Maidana.

 

Crazy idea put Morales vs Ortiz this won't last too long he looks much better as a welter too much fire power for Morales.

It is not the punches that bothered Ortiz. It was the constant pressure. That is why a fight with margarito would make Ortiz quit. Similar to freitas when they are smothered, they get discouraged.

He does not do well against fighters like hatton who does not allow you to rest.

Berto does not fight like that. He punches hard but he is not a pressure fighter.

 

It's the punches that bother Ortiz that has power. The pressure thing might bother but it isn't the only one. Berto is a much better fighter then Maidana. Ortiz before quit was winning the fight vs Maidana. Ortiz in that time was inexperience. It's like the samething with Vitali vs Bryd in which Vitali quit when the going gets tough but yet he prove in the Lewis fight that he has a heart. And i think at 147 pounds Ortiz look bigger, stronger with more power behind his punches. You going to tell me that Maidana at 147 pounds can still make Ortiz quit? Ortiz is a much better fighter at ww then at junior ww in which that's obvious.
