It's pretty close. Had Huck been given the nod over Povetkin as many thought he deserved(I didn't) then he'd probably leapfrog Froch in terms of accomplishments.. That said the performance in and of itself was pretty damn impressive, and Froch never tested the waters at LHW... Their SMW and CW resumes are pretty comparable. IDK...... About even for me personally.
Froch- Kessler, Pascal, Abraham, Bute, Groves, Taylor Huck- Lebedev, Afolabi, Arslan Huck could have had the more impressive resume if he'd ever tried to unify the titles. Wins over Hernandez and Wlodarcyk would have evened the score.
Froch by a solid margin, he didnt waste years on nothings, almost everynoe of his world levl fights are emphatic statements on his career, whereas each of hucks are on the whole meaningless. froch could have fought 16 meaningless fights for a title anytime he wanted.
Probably a whole lot closer than some would think but I'd ride with Froch. Huck did waste a bit of his prime. Should have fought an extra big name or two (unifications, I guess) during his long title run.
Well one thing is for certain.. Usyk dominated Huck way more cleanly and crowd friendly than Ward did Froch. Let's just be honest here.
