When I first joined the forum there was approximately 50-60 people on at peak times. However I look at the number of people in this forum and it has been increasing a lot over the last couple of weeks. Most of these people are guests, but apparently there is about 170+ people in the forum right now. What are the reasons behind this? Also has it ever been this high or higher in the past?
Im a regular on the hatton forum and I signed up to ESB a couple of months ago and had a little flutter in general but was put off due to the number of tits on there. I didnt notice at the British section at the time and have only come accross it in the last week or so, personally I just find it to be much more sensible, more knowlegable and a better debate on here than in general where the basis for any debate relies on one person calling the other a "nuthugger"
I think everyone has to realise the general is **** before they move on to the other forums on the site :yep
live fight and cobraboxing are down aswel, all run on the same server. I only know of one other memeber of the Hatton forum that posts on here tho :think, there arnt loads of members there anyway to cause such an increase in numbers
I have noticed the Yorkies are taking over. Me, Ishy, Icemax and Hoya are from God's own country, think 9ball is as well.
Could it be the increased number of major boxing news and events. Going on in Britiian. The David Haye stuff for example?
The reason is because we are a home. Here is where we discuss anything and everything British. This appeals to our very core because we are British no matter what our origins, colour or religion. We have great discussion, leave the General Forum antics alone and because of this we have people like Kerr, Buncey, Nelson, Moorsey, Limond, Dodson, Chinnock, Matthews and others coming to join us. Not only that but we have become a voice, and a heard one at that, by people like Buncey and Setanta. We are The Home of British Boxing. No other forum comes close. FACT.
I just googled boxing forums and this one caught my eye, could have something to do with the football season finishing and the footy forums being a bit dull at this time of year.
I was shoved in this direction by another poster here (chud) who I know from another couple of websites. I'm a regular on another website and have been for years but things are a bit slow over there at the minute. Plus there's only about 10 Brits on there, so I don't really get the chance to speak about Brit fights too much. To be honest, I'm only here for the Brit forum, and I must say I've been well impressed with it up to now.
