You can’t support the ref coaching fury up, making a long count and then admitting he did it to make the fight more dramatic, but then complaining the ref made a mistake favouring tank. Both are the refs discretion, but reiss went a bit further and accepted he did it for entertainment purposes (not his job to do)

    How was it?

It's plausible only that, at an absolute stretch, you could just about score it a draw... The odds of getting a majority draw would be very, very low in that kind of bout.

The only reason it ended a draw was because one card was very obviously cooked - the late KD's made that blindingly obvious.

Not saying it's necessarily the worst here... But yea, it was pretty terrible IMHO.

On my card Fury won all the rounds except for 9, 12, 5 & 7. Fury outlanded Wilder in almost every round my guy.

Reiss performed a correct count which Fury beat, what don't you understand? Wills didn't count when he was supposed to. It's not a ref discretion - if you're taking a knee after the shot, it's a KD.

Tank said something to the ref before touching down. The ref called time.

Yes reiss correctly coaching fury up, making a long count and then admitting he did it to make the fight more dramatic is completely normal.

What about when the ref stopped usyk knocking fury out to give a standing 8 count, was that ok? Or did you want usyk to win?

The ref started the count, then after Tank said something to him, he stopped. That's not how the count works. Especially since it was obvious it was after the shot.

It wasn't a long count, Fury was up in 9 seconds. After that the ref did what a lot of refs do in that situation - checked the balance of the fighter and let him go after accessing he can continue.

The ref messed up in the Usyk fight, but not because he gave Fury a standing count, but because he was inconsistent. He correctly called the knockdown, but he should have done it earlier, as ropes stopped Fury from falling down twice in this sequence. That's why if he was consistent, he would either call it the first time it happened, or let Usyk finish.

That’s a made up rule by fury fans that the ropes stopped fury going down hence the knockdown. There is no rule for that.
If there was, every time a guy leans back on the ropes will be scored a knockdown as without the rope you will fall.
It’s a daft misunderstanding of another rule.

the ropes were not keeping him up off the canvas, his feet were struggling but they were doing the job. It wasn’t about consistency, it was about a bad call.

if you truly believe that, watch fights and imagine the ropes aren’t there and see how many would be down if they were hit against them.

tank said something before he took the knee, go watch it.

if reiss did the right thing, why did he explain that he did something out of the ordinary to create more excitement and confirmed he personally wanted fury to get up. How can you have a bias ref?

7-5 for GGG here and Ive long maintained #1 GGG #2 Draw...fight #3 shouldve happened right away but its mutually understandable why it didn't. A shame.

Wilder Fury 1 was a landslide Fury win aside from the KDs

I dont watch Tank fights...always 20-1 favorite. Saw the highlights and looked like Tank robbed another one (Pitbull was first robbery).

    Roach vs Davis

because Roach was too much underrated even by me.

But glad that we have some lighting of this champion actually.
