If boxing popularity dies..... it effects the entire sport, including someone like you who just cares about his own entertainment.

    Why?

    1
Because when or if boxing popularity dies in a big way, you will see a drop in the quality of fighters coming up the ranks overall. Wont be quickly but it will happen. The more people that are into boxing, the more people that go in to boxing, the more quality of fighter that will arise. The less people who care, less people who enter boxing, slowly the talent pool will shrink and you will see a diminished quality of fighter in ring.

    2
If boxing ratings bomb card in and card out, there will come a time where networks take a hard look at how much they want to be commited to pushing boxing. Sorry, but I like having boxing on espn, nbc, hbo and showtime. You think NBC or any other network like fox is going to want to pick up boxing if theres no new fans coming to the sport? **** no. You think NBC will want to show boxing if boxings popularity tanks?

    3
I like BOXING coverage, I like being able to go to the store and check out the latest boxing magazines, I like boxing news websites that give me lots of info on whats happening in the sport. If Boxings popularity suffers.... these things suffer because of that. Magazines get canceled, or get dropped from stores because theyre not selling, news outlets start ignoring the sport, ect. The more boxing coverage there is, the better.... for all real fans.

    4
I want boxing to be a success because I like seeing these guys who put their life on the line fight in and fight out and who have dedicated their life to this sport get payed well. If you dont care how succesful boxing is, youre pretty much saying you dont care how succesful the fighters in boxing are. I personally like seeing fighters get their dues.

    But thats just me.

Boxing has plenty of fans who pump plenty of money into the sport.... Too much actually when you consider the fact that guys like Mayweather and Pacquiao can make 20+ million fighting guys who don't stand a chance with shitty ass undercards. If there were less people willing to hand over money for that type of ****, they'd be much more inclined to make the fights that people really want to see.

Thats not the point, the point is thats why a true boxing fan should care how popular boxing is or not. Because boxings popularity effects the entire sport.

You said you didnt care how popular it is, and Im saying as a boxing fan that you should. You then tell me that boxing is fine because its plenty popular.... when that wasnt the point.

anyways, to each their own... im just glad theres lots of fans that feel otherwise.

How many boing matches have you bought tickets for, dip****?

I've been to at least 30... Bought countless PPVs as well. I've stopped paying to see garbage cards though. There are plenty of other suckers out there to pay for those.

There's probably plenty of quality vibrators out there for $50, if you didn't like what the Top Rank PPV offered you should buy one and stick it up your ass.

(or maybe we're past that point because you clearly sound butthurt. You a Chavez fan?)
