Canelo is definitely a better fight for Murata. GGG is the worst possible fight for him. And I'm easily Murata's biggest fan on here.

Will be interesting to see how Murata's body punched affect GGG though. He's definitely not getting close to stopping him with headshots. When I see this fight played out in my head I see Murata on the floor several times. But who knows he might have a iron chin. I'll definitely be rooting for him.

Now that is a fight I can get behind, it wouldn't bother me in the least if Canelo ducked GGG for Murata, and let GGG fight Derevyanchenko, who is a tougher fight for G. Then if they beat both of them, they can rematch, and the winner of GGG-Canelo2 takes on The Superb One.

I'd like to see Murata/Sergei duke it out and the winner fights GGG/BJS winner. Those guys haven't done enough tbh to warrant a fight against GGG over BJS who has the belt.

In an interview over the weekend, Abel Sanchez stated yesterday that GGG won't be unified champion saying that Saunders won't fight him.

"Look, we know now that he’s never gonna be the unified champion. Saunders is never gonna fight him. Saunders is never gonna fight him because, like I said a little while ago, is looking for lottery money. He’s waiting for that opportunity and Saunders doesn’t wanna fight him."

"Well, he asked for $7 million to fight Jacobs," Sanchez said. "Isn’t that what he asked for to fight Jacobs? So imagine Golovkin. It’s gonna be Anthony Joshua money. So we’re kind of, in my opinion, we’re not gonna get that fourth belt. So really, the belts are not as important as what’s in Gennady’s best interests."

So if Golovkin's own trainer is stating that emphatically that Saunders is never going to fight him, it's hard to imagine Golovkin vs Saunders will happen any time soon. And Saunders has recently made a statement saying that he's interested in fighting the Canelo vs Golovkin rematch winner, as opposed to wanting to fight Golovkin now.

So what exactly did you refute? LOL

Canelo is coming off a 12 month lay off and is fighting C level/B level (at best) fighter, with the intended propose of shaking off the ring rust he's accumulated in the one year he was off.

Murata is a a good fighter and I would expect GGG to be fighting that level of opposition more consistently than he has in the last 8 years. I hope to never see GGG fight no hopers like Martirosyan, Brook, Wade, Stevens, Monroe... pretty much everyone on his resume minus Jacobs and Canelo.

    So what did you refute?

That IBF strap is getting vacated. Apparently Murata is very popular in Japan. GGG got 1 million vs Vanes. He’d be lucky to get 1.5 vs Derevenchenko. Against Murata selling out a stadium with 50,000 fans the pay is much higher. As GGG advisor the logical choice is very obvious.

As for Derevenchenko, where is this guy? Where are his interviews? Does this guy do any self promotion at all? For FS I’ve never seen this guy give a single interview. Why wasn’t he at the GGG Vanes fight? Make some noise and say “fight me don’t duck me son” lol

We can't give no moral victories on coulda, woulda, shoulda's.

Fight any of the big dogs except for Canelo and I will give him credit.

I can’t rate the choade and if GGG did happen to lose he already has a built in excuse, (ref, judges, roids etc)

I never wanted to see GGG vs Canelo 1 so I am totally against GGG vs Canelo 2.

Saunders would be the guy he would get the most credit beating and I just see him getting his ears boxed off and potentially retired

I refuted your vague attempt to justify Canelo taking a warm up. An angle you would have started pushing had you been allowed to set the narrative. He's an elite fighter, there's zero need for a warm up at this point..

If you truly believe that fighters should not take tune up fights after being OFF for an entire year, sorry, don't say this much to people here,, but you're a ****ing moron.

Murata is the better opponent, but I dont want to see those fights. Canelo-GGG II needs to happen next.
