So Espinoza says, the draft contract he saw clearly said the UK TV Rights belonged to Sky Sports Box Office NOT BT.

Espinoza says, contact was made to Hearn for more details on the $50M offer for verification. Hearn was told to contact his lawyers so the confidential details on where the money was coming from and the proof of funds would be emailed or faxed.

Espinoza says a meeting wasn’t necessary as all the details and verification would be sent digitally. Whyte-Parker was a example where Hearn said everything was done via a phone call to Higgins. So i agree with Stephen.

Espinoza also says, the $50M offer for the fight to take place in the US is the only place where Joshua can earn more money than he currently does in the UK.

I have come to the conclusion that either Warren was involved and this guy is lying. Or Joshua and Hearn have got
refs/judges/UKAD/VADA paid off which is why they are desperate for Joshua-Wilder to take place in the UK for LESS Money.

Or Hearn changed his plan with Joshua because of DAZN’s arrival and he wants to wait until Wilder is old like Klitschko so they can con the public with another old man v Joshua fight

Warren was involved for benchmarking purposes. Wilder’s guys contacted him purely to find out from a UK promoter who is not involved how many UK PPV buys the fight was likely to generate.

That’s very strange though. When Mayweather Promotions sold the Mayweather v Mcgregor UK TV Rights to Sky in 2017. Do you think they asked Warren for benchmarking purposes ?

Dosent make sense. Joshua v Wilder is going to do massive numbers in the UK if it’s at 5 am in the morning or 10pm in the evening.

So Finkel/Haymon were willing to show draft contracts to Stephen Espinoza, Frank Warren, Tyson Fury's lawyer, but sending a contract to Eddie Hearn was "counter-productive"?

It shows who really wants the fight. If Hearn/AJ really want the fight by these standards, they need to stop messing around and send the contracts to Bob Arum.

From a fans perspective it annoys me that the business side will not allow these guys to fight while both are at they’re peak(which is now).. On one hand Hear payed Charles F’in Martin 8 million to come to the UK and fight AJ.. Also they paid Parker a 67/33 revenue split after the guarantee for a guy who was less known than Wilder.. So Eddie initially offers Wilder just $4 millions more than Martin with no with no revenue split..(anybody can see that was not a serious offer.. On the other Hand it was more money than Wilder has ever made but one can see why he didn’t take it.. Why give Parker a revenue split but tell Wilder take the flat fee..

Which leads to my point as I understand the business side of having what I consider a Mega A side.. Just as Oscar has always used Canelo as his bargaining chip ,Eddie Hearn did the same with Joshua, Arum did with Pacquaio, And Haymon did with Floyd.. Each guy used they’re Mega A side to negotiate lucrative network deals and keep other guys in the stable happy.. Eddie needed guarantee Joshua for his DAZN deal to be approved.. Also what would be better for DAZNs business than AJ vs Wilder on DAZN.. Obviously Showtime wants the US rights so until both sides feel the business is enough to compromise on some things we won’t get this fight.. So now we’re at the moment where if Wilder Fury sells within 600k to 1 million PPVs, the financial gain in AJ vs Wilder will be well worth the risk for Matchroom to let the fight happen

Draft contracts and proof of funds are two different pieces of paper. If Eddie Hearn didn’t trust Haymon/Espinoza and wanted to know exactly how the fight was being funded/guaranteed and where the gurantee came from, that’s confidential information

So of course lawyers would be involved. Hearn was sent a contract, he just came out with the BS of “show me the proof of funds” then “ the fight would be on BT”

Finkel publically refused to send Hearn a draft contract. The only people who are known to have seen the contract are Frank Warren, Stephen Espinoza and Tyson Fury's lawyer.

Finkel has never claimed to have sent one to Hearn, despite making public every other aspect of the negotiations.

As for the proof funds, he talked about that shortly after receiving the offer and it wasn't much later that he accepted that the $50m was legit. At that point, proof of funds i unworthy of discussion.

The fight on BT claim was made by Frank Warren, a competitor of Hearn, who seemingly knows more of the details of the offer than Hearn. Hence, Hearn needs to get Bob Arum on the phone and make this Wilder deal after Fury gets knocked out.

You realise that there’s an IFL interview where Eddie says that he is satisfied by the proof of funds?

That little rat lookalike can say whatever he likes, he should spending his time out on the streets selling tickets instead of talking about AJ and Hearn.

What's Wilders purse for Fury? :) It better be more than that 15 million "peasant money" that Hearn offered.
