After watching Floyd shut down Mosley it felt like I was watching Jones back in the day when his opponents had no chance, so my question is who was a more dominant fighter in his prime?

Money is heads and shoulders superior to Roy. Roy strictly fought part time sanitation workers and cops during his so called "reign".

Yeah Toney, Hill, Hopkins, Johnson, Sosa, Maligna, Tate were all sanitation workers right?

Jones dominated a similar level of opp more impressively then Floyd. I.E. Floyd went the distance and dropped 3 rounds to VICTOR Sosa. Roy fought tough as nails MERQUI Sosa, who had never previously beeen stopped, and obliterated him in 2.

Most I expect will vote for Floyd, only cause most on the general forum are teeny boppers who all they know is Floyd, and Manny.

Anybody who remembers the 90's knows that prime Roy was better then Floyd.

    My two favorite boxers.

Roy Jones Jr= Athletic freak of nature in his prime. Ridiculous Speed, Power & Reflexes

Floyd Mayweather Jr. = Perfect Boxer period.

They should have a child together lol.

    Jones.

However...I think we are going to see the best of Mayweather if the Pacquiao bout comes off.

Roy. He barely lost a round in a ten year span. Plus he not only dominated fighters he knocked them out.

    Roy Jones Jr.

He and Floyd both capitalize on their opponents mistakes but Roy was the full package. He could ko people(really @ MW) and made boxing look so easy. Roy was one of a kind and he didn't start getting hurt visibly until after his prime to my knowledge. Both are great fighters but I have to go with Roy on this one.

RJJ was never really threatened in his biggest fights against his most dangerous opponents. A lot of lists would have him as the greatest MW, SMW and LHW of all times. PBF is a bad dude, but imo he's not quite on RJJ's level.

NO creditable list has him as the greatest MW or LHW of all time, and at SMW he has an argument head to head.
