Jones in the time period between 1993 and 1996 where he was not just the greatest boxer, but a guy who went in there to knock out every opponent he had, even if he was injured - that's dominant. After G-Man happened, he changed his views on boxing and unless someone really pissed him off (Montell Griffin) - he never went in there to kill them like he used too
RJJ... He has the more impressive wins to be honest, had the longest reign at the Top as P4P, was fighter of the decade... etc etc etc.. much more dominate than Mayweather. Jones rarely loss a round and against good fighters and even a few greats. One example of Jones Brilliance was him fighting a guy like Reggie Johnson and blowing him out the water, just destroying him to the point he just similar won nothing. Reggie was a damn good fighter, coming off some KO wins against good fighters. People knew this guy was the real deal, wins over Collins, Arguably beat a prime Toney. All the commentators knew he was a real deal opponent and Jones made him look like a nobody.
I gotta agree with you here bro...In his prime,I struggle to find any fighter in history from 147-175 that i'd favour over him..Don't think so...Not even the Great SRR...simply too fast and too strong. Could have helped his cause..but he did'nt..If he'd taken on Eubank,Benn, and or Calzaghe..he'd have been a Top10 ATG for sure. Too bad those fights never happened. But Roy was the man.
