Both have a habbit of clinching to stop their opponents from getting anything going. Ward as a bit more subtle about it, since he mix it up with clenching which is actually perfectly legal. But I still think Wlad is a better wrestler inside the ring. He ties his opponents up as as effective as an octupos or anaconda, and lean on them to sap their energy. It's a sinister move. Wards victims can sometimes break free or even sneak a rabbit punch in. Thats kind of weak.
Only Bika was able to sneak in rights to the side of Ward's head. Nobody else could. And Bika is one dirty mofo, just look at his wife. Not like Wlad enjoys it on the inside. Ward actually does.
Ward because he's one of the very best inside fighters in the game. And, inside fighting could most closely be associated with "wrestling skills."
Yes, he is. Waldo, on the other hand, has absolutely zero inside game whatsoever, which is why he's always looking to grab, hold and wait for the break as soon as any mother****er gets too close to him.
Maybe that has something to do with the fact that he uses them constantly throughout every fight for the reason I pointed out above. Ward is a better and more complete fighter hands down.
Ward: he muscles guys around pushes em and busts em up on the inside. Wlad leans on top of guys, or holds on for dear life. Ward is like a Bret Hart wrestling technician. Wlad is more like King Kong Bundy. :deal
I've got no problem with someone fighting on the inside, fighting in and out of a clinch or even clinching a fair bit. Ward does this, Wlad doesn't, Wlad has absolutely no intention of engaging or trading punches within an arms length of his opponent.
