More embarrassing KO of a prospect in recent memory?

    Just done watching the Price fight . . .

    Well. Almost a slapstick looking knockout in that the punch appeared to have no power on it yet Price was away with the fairies for some time afterwards.

    I was trying to think of more embarrassing KOs suffered by hyped prospects in recent memory but I'm not sure I can think of anything that tops it.

    What do you reckon? :think

    Danny Jacobs was embarrassed pretty badly vs Pirog considering he was going to be the next big thing and it was on HBO

    Mike Jones was a disappointing KO. Was expecting decent things from him. He took the KO hard evidently... as he's been off the boxing map since

    Don't know if TKO's count, but bad ass James Kirkland being dropped 3x by Nobohiro Ishida's jab was pretty embarrassing.

    I did actually initially write about Khan - Prescott and Jacobs - Pirog in my opening post, but deleted it. :D

    That's a decent shout, although Mitchell was always a footballer trying boxing. I don't think anyone took his HW chances too seriously . Price on the other hand has the amateur pedigree and was much fancied to be a champ one day.

    Yeah, that was some funny ****.

    Khan vs Prescott was BAD.

    But considering Price has been getting wanked off by all and sundry in Britain for some time only to be smashed out by a girls slap from a fat shot average 42 year journeyman, in the very first test he's had... Well that's pretty embarrassing

    It was, but at least Prescott put his body into those shots and they were full on hooks. Thompson's shot was a real nothing shot. A bit of a cuffing shot on the break and then he goes down like a sack of ****.

    I would say Khan but then looking back at it he bounced back very well. The British fans aren't gonna make fun of Price as they did with Khan.
