More exciting fight: Pac vs Thurman or Spence vs Porter?

Pac/Thurman was high level boxing with plenty of action. Porter/Spence was high levels of action but average boxing. I pick the former rather than the latter.

 

Porter vs Spence -- all day long !!!!

 

I liked the Pac vs Thurman fight better because Pac shut Thurman's mouth and made him bow down. Porter didn't shut Spence's mouth.

 

Anyone who saw Thurman vs Lopez knew Thurman had no chances

 

Porter vs Spence was more exciting b'cuz an upset was in the making! And until the 11th round it was anybody's fight.

Pac seemed to have his fight under control. After about 4 rounds it was apparent one time's time had passed.

 

Not even close. Spence vs Porter!

 

Spence Porter was closer so I enjoyed it a bit more. Manny showed flashes of his old self and beat a tough, undefeated younger guy. Both fights were entertaining. Hopefully Crawford was watching.

 

Spence - Porter was as expected. Spence to win narrowly or could go the other way. Everyone expected that to happen.

Pacman - Thurman was unexpected. Most fans and Most "Boxing Experts" or ExFARTS predicted that Thurman would blow away an old Pacman in less than 10 rounds. Quite the opposite. This was more exciting.

 

I will ask you again, who has dominated Porter? BTW Spence-Porter was the better fight.

 

I picked Thurman to beat Pac but Pac was the favorite so I don't know what you're talking about there.

 

Why was Spence-Porter the better fight?

 

Spence/Porter was the better fight. (it was a trench warfare fight).

Thurman and Pac are both boxer/punchers and preferred to do their work by giving angles, and preferred to keep the trench exchanges to a minimum. Excellent fight but it wasn't a dog fight.

 

More consistent in your face action. With that said Pac-Thurman was a good fight as well.

 

Pacquiao-Thurman was both a strategic battle AND a war. I feel like Spence-Porter was a grueling battle of wills with a LOT of sloppy and wild punches (because of Porter's style). Both great fights.

 

Pac - Thurman showed more skill but Pacquiao faded as the fight went on.

That KD was a thing of beauty though.
