Who is more exciting: Floyd Mayweather Jr (in his prime) or Naoya Inoue?

Inoue won world title fights in other division, light flyweight and super flyweight, but moving up in weight to bantamweight hasn't made him less exciting.

Floyd at 130 was a beast. He was an offensive minded fighter in the lower weight classes.

True, but Inoue is still miles ahead in terms of being destructive.

Idk man. Inoue hasnt had a marquee name on his resume just yet. We'll see how he performs against the best fighters at 122, ie Fulton and MJ.

Gatti was "exciting" to watch to, how did that work out for him when he was destroyed by pbf? Lmfao!
    Pbf>inoue
There's nothing he can do to top him.

I understand, It's hard to hype boxers from lower weight divisions, but why compare him to Floyd in terms of excitement ?

Now being "exciting" is the new measuring stick of greatness??? Lmfao! Well I'll be damned!!! This is one of the worst loser arguments I've seen and I've seen alot of them. Anyone with a brain cell can see pbf is greater and better than inoue but we'll get him on "excitement". Even then the numbers don't back it up people sure as hell did show up and buy ppvs for a so called less "exciting" fighter so you lose again there. Pbf was the biggest draw in the history of the sport.

:risas3::risas3::risas3: pbf beat gatti like he stole something. Your dumbass before the fight probably thought gatti was going to beat pbf to??? You're a casual and this thread proves it.

Pbf would school inoue who's tailor-made for him if both were the same size. You're high as a kite if you think imoue is outboxing or stopping pbf based on him beating d c level fighters and an ancient donaire 2x.

If Inoue was similarly sized to Floyd, he'd crush Floyd same as prime Pac would have. Not that Floyd would have taken the fight — "Who's Inoue?! He don't even speak English!"

Wow, this thread devolved quickly. It's not about who's better. It's about who's more exciting. As @drenlou said, at lower weights Mayweather Jr. was a beast and nothing like the version of Money who fought at 147. That being said, even then, I never thought of Floyd as an exciting fighter, just a great one.

Inoue brings a mini-version of Mike Tyson devastation to the ring. When I watch his fights part of the experience is watching to see when he crushes his opponent with a perfectly placed head shot or a paralyzing body shot.

For me, Inoue is more exciting.
