Again based on what? Inoue has never seen a style let alone a fighter of pbfs level. Level of competition matters and beating up old guys like donaire 2x doesnt prepare you to face an elite atg and the best fighter of his era in pbf dummy. Pbf would school that boy. The difference in speed reflexes and skill is too much for the unproven can crusher to overcome. If the fight could happen you wouldn't put a dime on inoue. A slow come forward guy who would be made to look amateurish after pbf took away his power hand and frustrated him by his inability to land clean as he's beaten to the punch over and over again then the fight enters a boxing match one in which inoue doesn't have a chance in hell of winning against a master. Better and more accomplished boxers couldnt beat pbf. Pbf by wide UD the safest bet in all of sports:deal:

Slow come forward? You done ****ed up right there. It's become more than obvious that you haven't watched many Inoue fights.

It's the general consensus here that Inoue is a master boxer with elite power, footwork, speed, accuracy, timing, punch selection/technique/form/delivery. Oh, and he's also got the best jab, left hook, and body punching in the entire sport.

Bruh, stop. You straight looking like a clown now.

The guy is slow he's not a speedster put him in there with a prime pbf and he will look slow as ****. Pac is a harder fight for pbf than inoue would be. Pbf loves facing guys like inoue because his whole defense is designed to shut down guys like inoue he's is a boxer puncher who mostly throws punches from predictable angles which pbf can anticipate see neutralize them and counter. Inoue would be lucky to win 2 rounds against pbf.

2017-08-26 Floyd vs Sugar ''Money'' Mac ie. Floyd's last fight

2017-09-09 Inoue's US debut ie. Inoue's US debut

So Floyd ever so conveniently decided to hang up his gloves just a couple of weeks after watching Inoue's US debut even though he was not only still smack bang in the midst of his prime but we saw the best ever version of him against Sugar ''Money'' Mac and no one can argue otherwise.

Funny how Floyd has fought in Japan twice since retiring, both times against Japanese fighters, one a kickboxer, the other a MMA fighter, but we never hear him mention Japanese Inoue's name or call him out even though Inoue is an actual pro boxer and ranked in the P4P top 3. Inoue sent him into retirement and Floyd is still running from that Kanagawa smoke to this day.

Floyd could've fought Inoue in his next fight after beating Sugar ''Money'' Mac but he went and fought 0-1 Youtuber Sugar Sweet Hands Logan Paul instead. The Inoue duck would've been excusable had Floyd opted to fight the other Paul brother instead.. The King... The Lion Jake ''Money'' Paul.. but he didn't.

    Weird thread topic.

Anyways Inoue is more exciting. I do like to watch some Prime Mayweather from time to time. He's way more exciting than people give him credit for.

    His fights against:
    Jesus Chavez
    Emanuel Augustus
    Diego Corrales
    Jose Luis Castillo 1
    Philip Ndou
    Zab Judah
    Oscar De La Hoya
    Miguel Cotto
    Canelo Alvarez
    Marco Maidana 1

Are all fights that I'll rewatch for one reason or another.

The obvious answer, to the original question, is that Inoue is the more exciting fighter. Which isn't to say he's better - Wilder is an exciting fighter too. But I'll say for Floyd that his basically "solving" boxing made his fights absorbing encounters, if you like watching people do things they're supremely good at. Both are great to watch. But watching Inoue unleash is kind of to see someone perform the pinnacle action of the sport, from minimum weight all the way up.

You do realise that he fought two people named Jesus Chavez and that you picked the wrong one right?

I know yall keep on saying Floyd is a runner but tbh he isn't really much of a runner compared to that of Paul Butler. If you are going to compare who runs the most in boxing, Butler is Usain Bolt LOL.

I'm sure you watched many of Floyd's fights. We all knew what to expect from him. Defense, defense, and movement. If you and I knew what to expect, Floyd's opponents should have known and prepare for that. There is something called " cutting off the ring". Very good tactic to trap a moving opponent on the ropes or prevent them from keeping out of range. You never see Roman Gonzales, Golovkin or Inoue chase an opponent around the ring all fight. Because they mastered cutting off the ring.

Rigondeaux is even worse than Butler recently. Guys who aren't talented enough instinctually to be slick but who are fleet of foot turn into runners. Rigondeaux's athleticism declined and now he's a runner.

Love Inoue and he’s a beast right now, giving us fight after fight of destruction but man Pretty Boy Floyd…he was something else…

    Super hard to choose…

I’d say Inoue but by a hair (might be me being biased haha)
