I'll go with Chacon. His second fight with Edwards and fourth fight with Limon are both more exciting than any Gatti fight. However, I can totally understand someone picking Gatti. They're both some of the most exciting boxers of all time.
Two of the most entertaining fighters of all time. Both would make 2 great but tragic films. Gatti had some real classics. Wilson Rodriguez, Ruelas, Micky Ward I+III, Ivan Robinson I, Manfreddy. Chacon had incredible fights with Bazooka IV, Boza I+II, Frias and lets not forget there´s not that much footage of Chacon so I imagine there are some great fights we don´t really know enough about. I´ll slightly lean towards Gatti because he had that explosive power, Chacon could bang but usually wear you out especially above featherweight. Terrific crowd pleasers.
Cornelius Boza-Edwards beats both of them for excitement I remember during covid I went on a binge watching Boza-Edwards and he had atleast a dozen fights that were FOTY contenders it was ridiculous. But as for the thread I think I'd give the edge to Chacon because his two most memorable fights vs Boza-Edwards and Limon were 12 and 15 round fights whilst Gatti's most memorable fights were only 10 rounders. And I think those extra rounds made Chacon's fights more memorable to me considering they were championship fights aswell.
Yeah, Gatti was more explosive in terms of power but Bobby had some good all guns blazing style,it also lasted till round 15.
