Part 1 starts in 70 mins, if you want a fix of boxing and don't want the Veterans PPV this is worth giving a shot to
RBR for as long as I can type coherently Naoya Shiotani (red) v Sho Akatsuka (blue) 1-Shiotani 2-Akatsuka 3-Akatsuka (close) - Shiotani's face a ****ing mess by the end of the round!
4-Akatsuka not looking like the debutant here, hammering Shiotani on a swollen left side of his face with his hard right hands, Shiotani digging in hard and fighting back, but keeps getting tagged. They are just squaring up and firing off shots. Wonderful violence to kick this off! Akatsuka gets the decision, rightful winner, real good opening bout
1-Sugawara seemed full of beans in his walk in, Momota on the offensive lots of pressure from him, Sugawara unleashing nice combinations when Momota closes the distances, all the pressure coming from Momota but it's not the most effective. Sugawara lets his shots go but eats a big counter in the final few seconds. Momota's round Kohei Momota (2-0-1) - Red v Kenta Sugawara (1-1, 1) - Blue
2-All the pressure from Momota again, but Sugawara holding his feet more and we get some sensational back and forth, Sugawara lacking power but has lovely hand speed in his shoe shine combinations, standding toe to toe and letting shots fly Giving that to Sugawara
3-Momota basically throws himself across the ring to begin the round, once again applying all the pressure early, but Sugawara turns it around and unleashes, Momota trying to impose his will, Sugawara the crisper puncher, Momota backs him up, nice combination from Sugawara,
4-More of the same, Momota pressing, Suguwara responding, the two men then squaring up and fighting on the inside, the sort of small hall fight we used to see on Sky in the UK in the 1990's, real fun action bout on the inside, Momota twice snapped the head of Sugawara, trading to the bell. 38-38 on my card and I'm spending too much time correcting my typos. Hope someone else watches. Been fun through 2 bouts. I'm a watch and shush
